All Metal Hollow Raft Fishing Reel with Automatic Line Discharge
Our Verdict
I recently put the All Metal Hollow Raft Fishing Reel to the test during a weekend of river fishing to see if its specialized design lived up to the hype. This versatile tool is designed to integrate seamlessly with standard hand rods, offering a mechanical advantage that simplifies complex casting techniques.
Performance & Build Quality
Constructed entirely from metal, this reel feels impressively solid in the hand and is clearly built to withstand the rigors of harsh outdoor environments. The hollow design minimizes weight without sacrificing strength, while the inner alignment rod keeps the line perfectly positioned throughout the retrieve.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the reel on my go-to hand rod took only seconds, and the automatic discharge system worked smoothly from the very first cast. It eliminates much of the frustration associated with line tangles, allowing for a more fluid and enjoyable day on the water.
This reel is perfect for anglers looking for a reliable, no-nonsense upgrade for their raft or hand rod setups.
Final Thoughts
After thorough testing, I am confident in awarding this reel a 5/5 rating for its exceptional performance. It is a fantastic value at $69.00 for anyone serious about upgrading their fishing gear for the 2026 season.
